Tooth

10 months old this Sunday and yesterday I looked at that adorable little gummy smile to find a little shinny tooth popping through that slimy surface. Its happening, if I am ready or not my sweet baby girl is growing up!

Since Adilyn was born she has loved bath time, now she loves it even more! I bought her a few bath toys that are sea creatures. A purple dolphin, a blue shark, a white sea gull, a red crab and one in specific she loves more then the rest...

The Orange Octopus.

This little guy has gone through many tests to show in fact that he is definitely Adilyn's favorite. This one has been tossed aside to see if she would notice, hidden under wash cloths, and lined up with his fellow sea friends to see which one she would go for. and it was a close call when she almost went for the crab!

In the end it will always be the Orange Octopus. Her love in the bath tub.

We have talked about putting Adilyn in piano lessons as she gets older, but this just confirms that we have too! Any time I set her down she go straight for it. She is adorable. <3

Holidays

Halloween is this weekend then it will be my favorite! TURKEY DAY and then the oh so fun Christmas! I am always thrilled for the holidays but this year I feel more excited then ever, and I think it has a lot to do with Adilyn. Seriously kids make everything more fun. I don't care what anyone says. Over the past 9 months I have watched
Adilyn learn so many things. I think the hardest thi
ng anyone can do is learn to walk. How frustrating would it be not to able to to go where you want to go! Not that she is there yet but she is standing now, puling herself up to me and anything she can reach. When I hold her she will put one foot in front of the other. My little bundle of Joy is what gives the Holiday that much more excitement and will only get more exciting over the years! My mother always told me Santa was not real, but how could you NOT tell your kids about Santa! I get excited just thinking about it.

It rained tonight and anytime it rains I take Adilyn right out into it with me. My kids will always play in the rain. None of that parent stuff because you dont want them to get sick. Boo. Thats no fun!!! Rain is fun! :) Its was thundering out side and it was so loud at one point she got scared and starting crying. And I think... I am scared too.. But I don't show fear, I just tell her its okay. Its amazing what being a mother does. Because all my friends and especially my husband know what a big baby I am. About many things lol But around Adilyn I just want her to be fearless and not harmed so I "pretend" to be that. haha

I have recently been praying about going to nursing school or not. Something I have always been interested in., or being a flight attendent. I would love to do it and it would be a great opportunity but I want to make sure its what Heavenly Father wants. It would be hard work and it would be worth it. But I know it would be hard to not be around Adilyn all day long. Cause my time with her means everything to me.

This last Saturday was our 1 year sealing anniversary. Can't believe its been a year already! We spent it taking pictures (thank you Chelsea Karch) and at Easton's 1st birthday! David did get me a dozen white roses. Which was very thoughtful.

I am getting some what better?

I know it takes me a few months to post but I am getting the hang of it. I hope to eventually have it down to an every week thing!

Adilyn is 8 months! 8 months!!! It amazes me how time flys. Adilyn is army crawling everywhere and really trying to get up on those knees! She will be there in no time. No sign off teeth and I am okay with that. She is starting to realize when I leave the room so she wants to be held a lot lately.

David and I just got family pictures done which I was really excited for cause I dont think we have any done since our wedding.

David has an interview to be promoted to a 1a manager! Which is really exciting cause he will finally have the weekends off!

General conference was yesterday and Saturday and the talks were amazing as always and I feel like I took some awesome thoughts from it.

I know I am really bad at this blogging. Hopefully I will figure it out and I will get better but for now this is it!

Our July

David Adilyn and I went on a family vacation we went to Provo first to see our good friend's Andrew, Lisa and their two kids Avery and Addison. We first met them when David did summer sales our first year of marriage and we loved them! We have never been the friends who hang out ever weekend or talk constantly but I cherish there friend ship so much. I think this past vacation made Lisa and I a lot closer and I love her to death! We had fun just hanging out playing games shopping and best of all prank calling. :)

After we headed to Richfeild, UT for our family reunion. Which was a blast. It always is with our family and adding new people just makes it even better. The weather was awesome. The 2nd day we were there Bryan, Katie, our cousin Toby, David and I went and saw Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. It was amazing. I can'r even believe it. Did not disappoint at all. Except for the fact that it is over. :( We had a lot of fun and learned about our family.

Our Adilyn Lenee' is growing growing growing. At the beginning of this month she was starting to roll over from back to front and now she is rolling over in ever direction, holding her own bottle, on solid foods, making rasberries, grabbing her feet and putting them in he mouth and saying "Dah Dah." trying to talk all the time ba ba and little noises she is just going going going. I get so sad with just the last few weeks how much she has changed.

We are so very excited to be moving into our own place in about two weeks. It will be very nice to have our own home again.

David got a promotion to be an ERP 2a. But we are still praying he gets promoted to a 1a by the end of the summer.

We are very excited for the next up coming weeks!!!

Adilyn starts rice cereal!

David and I had so much fun giving Adilyn her first meal. It took her 5 mins before she got the hang of it and once she did she started growling for more and lunging her self for the spoon, as seen in the picture above! She is 5 months 2weeks and she is the biggest joy in our lives and we are so thankful to have our precious little girl!

Whats going on?

I figure I really need to start blogging. With so much going on in not just my own life but my daughters I don't want to forget anything. Realizing this morning she is going to be 5 months next week! Is so insane to me!!! She laughs and laughs, rolls over from tummy to back and is working hard on rolling from back to front! She loves the bath and any water. She is even sitting up every now and again by herself. She loves her toes and anything she can put in her mouth. I love waking her up every morning and ever nap cause she has the biggest smile on her face! She is so precious and so fun sometimes I look at her and just hurt cause I love this little girl so much! It is so much fun watching David play with her, I love to see the happiness in his face of being with his little girl. Adilyn has brought so much love and joy into our life's.

Speaking of little girls, we have Ryan every other week now and she has been a pure joy to have around. Ryan loves her little sister and loves to help out as much as she can. Ryan loves cartoons and swimming. She loves getting her nails and toes done, which is one one my favorite things to do with her as we jam out to her favorite boy band, Justin Bieber. :) She loves at night to say her prayers, repeating after daddy, which is the cutest thing ever. Then reading a chapter out of her Veggietales book.

I just got my wisdom teeth out this last Wednesday, which has been horrible. My face is huge and my bruises are even bigger. This seriously was worse then labor!

I started a business on Etsy selling Diaper wipe cases. AdilynLenee.etsy.com. I have so much fun and am praying this will work out so I can make some extra income for our family!

For now this is my update, I am determined this time to keep it up!
